ABOUT ACE

Christopher Branin Morgan, professionally known as Ace Akai, is an American music producer whose passion for music has been lifelong. A drummer since age 13, his rhythmic foundation shaped his unique production style. In his teens, Chris discovered hip-hop through Eminem, which led him to explore the genre deeply, from legends like Nas and Rakim to modern artists like Logic and Kendrick Lamar.

Inspired to create his own music, he purchased his first MIDI keyboard, an Akai MPK, and began recreating beats. Eventually, he started creating his own music, learning from influential producers such as 6ix, J Dilla, and Kanye West while crafting his own distinct sound. He is continuously improving his craft through daily production and collaborations.

In May 2024, he released “Comfort Zone”, a collaboration with Scottish rap duo Broxden Knocks.

Shortly after in August, he highlighted his songwriting talent by writing and producing “Closure”, which was performed by rapper 1imit1ess.

Then, in November, he teamed up with rappers ConnorrrMac and 1imit1ess to release the track “Roshambo”, the lead single from his highly anticipated album, "Ace's Hand".

With a blend of homage to his musical influences and innovation, Ace Akai is steadily making a name for himself in the music industry.
